Our AGM on 24 May at Winchester Cathedral was well attended with drinks and nibbles after the AGM. It was wonderful to be able to meet in person after two years of Covid restrictions.
Along with the normal AGM agenda the work of Area Co-ordinators was recognised, as were the efforts of those who helped raise funds through Ride & Stride. The following Ride & Stride certificates were awarded for the following.
St Peter and St Paul, King’s Somborne, as the highest fund raising church making £2,536
Two first time church fundraisers: St James, Bossington, £1,020 and All Saints, Milford on Sea,£741
Peter Rankin as top individual fundraiser raised £1,500 for St Peter and St Paul, Shalden
Eric Skipper for his years as Petersfield Area Coordinator and participant for Petersfield URC
Robin Hart for his many years as a participant for Petersfield URC
Caroline Tomlinson for her many years as participant and organiser for St Peter in the Woods, Appleshaw
Finally there was a brief talk on the workings of the Grants Committee.
